ABOUT THE SERVICE:

            A fencing permit is secured by the real property owner prior to the construction of a fence.

REQUIREMENT(S):

●        Fencing Plan.

●        Bill of materials and cost estimates signed by a licensed civil engineer.

●        Lot plan with certification from a geodetic engineer that the proposed fence will not encroach on adjoining properties.

●        Current real property tax receipt from the City Treasurer’s office 

●        Tax declaration or TCT of lot (2 Xerox copies)

●        Permit forms accomplished and signed by a licensed civil engineer or architect

●        If the applicant is not the registered owner of the lot:

-duly authorized copy of authorization from lot owner (3 copies)

-or duly notarized contract of lease or deed of absolute sale (3 copies)

-which ever applies

●        Barangay fence construction clearance (3 copies)

●        Official Receipt from the City Treasurer’s office 

●        Zoning Ordinance from the City Planning and Development Office

●        Fire Clearance from the Bureau of Fire Department 

FEE(S):

            Fencing permit fee (please refer to the revised and updated IRR of the National Building Code – PD 1096)

  1. Notify the building official of the proposed construction of fence
  2. Secure schedule of site visit for verification and inspection
  3. Ask for fencing permit form and list of requirements

Go back to the building permit section:

      -submit duly accomplished application form and the requirements to the employee in-charge.

      -get the computation of fees required for the fencing permit

-Receive and review duly accomplished form and documents submitted

 

-Provide client the computation of fees

Proceed to the:

  1. City Treasurer’s Office and pay the fees as computed
  2. City Planning and Development Office for the location clearance
  3. Fire department for fire clearance if there are electrical installations in the fence

Return to the building permit section of the City Engineering Office

      -submit the official receipt, clearances, & documents

-Receive and record official receipt, clearances and documents

  1. The site visit is conducted.
  2. The fencing permit is processed.

       -sign the releasing logbook.

Clients may visit personally or text/call the City Engineer’s Office/Building Permit Section.

 

How feedbacks are processed?

The employee concerned or the Building Official will be immediately informed of any complaints thru text/call.

How to file complaint?

A complaint letter maybe filed addressed to the Building Official stating the complaints whether it be on an employee or any matter related to the work being complained about.

How complaints are processed?

Inform the employee concerned, get the employee’s side of the story and make a written answer to the complainant.
