ABOUT THE SERVICE:

The Population Commission (POPCOM) unit/division of the City Health Office spearheads the  conduct of pre-marriage counselling seminars to would-be-couples. Lectures are given every other Friday  from 9:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the POPCOM office. For those who are not free on the specified day they  may opt for a schedule based on their availability. Facilitators from different agencies act as lectures during  the seminar. A certificate which is issued after the activity is a pre requisite in getting a marriage license.

 (Special) - 300.00

Approach the officer of the day  -inquire about the service

-Answer client’s inquiry

-Advise client to pay at the  City Treasurer’s Office.

 -Pay the required fees

 -Get the original copy of official  receipt

Return to the POPCOM office 

 -Present the official receipt to  the employee in-charge

 -Secure a schedule the PMC  seminar

-Get the official receipt and  record it in the logbook

-Furnish client as a schedule  of the PMC seminar to the  client.

Go back to the POPCOM office in  the schedule date of the seminar.

 -Attend the PMC seminar

-Conduct PMC seminar to  the would-be-couples.
