Halad Sayaw Pasalamat Kang Sr. San Miguel
Under the Asenso Administration, Tangub City's festival, once known as Dalit, has transformed into “Halad Sayaw Pasalamat kang Sr. San Miguel.” This rebranding reflects a deep expression of gratitude to Sr. San Miguel, the city's patron saint.
This shift has garnered strong support, especially from employees from different agencies who used to contribute out of the pocket for this activity.Halad Sayaw Pasalamat kang Sr. San Miguel focuses on Tangub City's culture and traditions, allowing participants to showcase their talents and pride in a spirit of unity. The presentations highlight the city's history, Catholic faith, and commitment to environmental conservation.
On September 29, 2023, the Halad Pasalamat kang Sr. San Miguel was held at the Tangub City Global College ground and was attended by Mayor Ben Canama, Vice Mayor Tito Decina, City Officials, Department Heads, employees from various local offices, and residents of Tangub.
The weather favored the occasion, with no rain to dampen the festivities. Special thanks were extended to the staff sent by Senator Bong Go, who generously shared small tokens/gifts to Tangubanons.
The city also expressed its heartfelt appreciation to the PNP, Philippine Army, CPAT, ROTC Cadets, and Criminology Interns for their diligent effort in ensuring the peace and order of the Fiesta Celebration dedicated to Senior San Miguel the Archangel.
