In celebration of the 123rd Civil Service Anniversary, the City of Tangub kicks off the month-long celebration with a program starting off with a parade on Friday, September 1, 2023.

With a theme “Transforming Public Service in the Next Decade: Honing Agile and Future-Ready Servant Heroes," this year’s 123rd PCSA celebration focuses on the importance of cultivating dynamism among government workers to foster sustainable management and strengthen organizational resilience.

Mayor Ben Canama and the city officials led the parade. The police marshal provided crowd order and safety.   The parade participants included employees from national agencies such as the BJMP, BFP, DICT, MTCC, PAO, RTC, PPO, Prosecutors Office, LTO, MOELCI II, TCWD, Landbank, COA, ROD, DAR, DILG, Post Office, BIR, PRC, and COMELEC.

Educational institutions, including Tangub City Global College (TCGC) and Northwestern Mindanao State College of Science and Technology (NMSC), also joined the parade.

The Department of Education’s (DepEd) delegation included employees from the Division Office, and teachers and employees from the Secondary   and Elementary Schools.

Health personnel from Dona Maria D. Tan Memorial Hospital (DMDTH), and employees from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), and the Local Government Unit completed the group as it snaked along the main streets of the city.

Tangub City's celebration of the 123rd Civil Service Month reaffirms its commitment to improve public service, nurture committed and future-ready public servants to ensure resilient government workers in the face of challenges. The month-long festivities serve as reminder of the vital role public servants play in building a brighter future for Tangub City and the nation.
