Issuance of Certification for Cutting/Pruning of Trees – G2C/G2B
The Certification issued to an individual whose intention is to use the lumber as construction material for the repair or construction of his/her house or for personal needs, and to persons engaged in business who intends to sell and transport the lumber. Certifications are issued to individuals to confirm their rightful ownership of the tree and the purpose of its utilization and to persons engaged in business to confirm the source and ownership of the tree/lumber, and to facilitate application for cutting and conveyance permit from the DENR.

Who May Avail: All owners of private lands and planted trees within the jurisdiction of the city/Lumber business or suppliers.
CHECKLIST OF REQUIREMENTS
1. Barangay Certification (1 original, 1 photocopy) indicating the
following:
a) Name, age, complete address from the Barangay Office.
b) Species and number of trees owned and requested for cutting/pruning from the Barangay Office.
c) Location of the trees from the Barangay Office.
d) Purpose of the certification from the Barangay Office.
e) In case the requesting party is a buyer, its signature will appear in the certification so with the seller from the Barangay Office.
2. Proof of ownership of the land where the trees are located.
a) Land Title (1 original, 1 photocopy) from the Applicant.
b) Deed of Sale (1 original, 1 photocopy) from the Applicant.
c) Any related Documents (1 original, 1 photocopy) from the Applicant.
3. Written authorization of the landowner, in case the applicant is a caretaker or tenant. (1 original, 1 photocopy) from the Landowner or authorized representative.
4. Replacement seedlings (1:100) for every tree cut from the Seedling growers.

1 | Client Steps: Sign the logbook and submit the complete documentary requirements to the receiving officer and audience with the City ENRO for a personal interview (if documents are complete). If documents are incomplete and returned, receive the documents and comply with the lacking requirements and resubmit. Agency Action: Let the client sign the logbook, check the completeness of the requirements. If complete, accept the documents and marked/signed received with date and time and refer the client to the City ENRO. If not complete, return the documents to the applicant with notes on the lacking requirements and advice to resubmit. Client Steps: If documents are returned, receive the documents and comply the needed information/s and resubmit for review & Re-verification.
Agency Action: Receive, review and reverify the resubmitted documents and schedule the site assessment/validation. Agency Action: Conduct Site Assessment within three (3) days from receipt of documents. Agency Action: Prepare the Assessment Report with observations and findings, recommendations and conclusion whether the request qualifies or not. Agency Action: If qualified notify the client to come to the office and issue the order of payment for the certification. If not qualified notify the client to come to the office for personal information or send written notice to the applicant indicating reason/s for disqualifications and recommendations based on the assessment. |

Client Steps: Pay to the City Treasurer’s Office and secure the Official Receipt (O.R.) of payment. Client Steps: Present/ Submit the O.R. to the receiving officer for photocopy. Agency Action: Prepare and sign the Certification of No Objection. Agency Action: Prepare the Commitment for the replacement of seedlings for confirmation and signature. |

Agency Action: Release the certification, provide the client a copy of the Commitment of Replacement and request the client to sign the logbook.
