Issuance of Zoning Certification for Business, Water and Power Connections


The certification is issued to attest that the business establishment and projects subject for water and power connection is in conformity with or allowed within the zone under the City‘s Zoning Ordinance.

CHECKLIST OF REQUIREMENTS
For Water Connection Purpose:

  1. Certified True Copy of Tax Declaration of the land or project site (1copy) from the City Assessors‘ Office of Tangub
  2. If applicant is not the owner appearing in the Tax Declaration; Notarized Deed of Conveyance of the land from the declared owner to the applicant (1 copy) OR, Notarized authorization or Consent from the owner to construct/establish the project over the land. (1original copy) from the Land Owner
  3. Barangay Construction Clearance (1 photocopy) from the Barangay Hall where the project is located

Additional requirements for Business and Power Connections:

  1. Filled-out and Notarized Application Form ( 1 original copy) from Zoning Administration Division to be sworn before a Notary Public
  2. Joint Venture Agreement OR Certificate of Incorporation (for associations/ corporations) from The Corporation or Association concerned
  3. VICINITY MAP indicating the location of the project and the existing land uses within 500 meter radius duly signed by a licensed architect / geodetic/civil engineer (1 copy)  from the Commissioned Professional
  4. Notarized authorization from the applicant if filed by a representative (1 original copy) from the Applicant
  5. For projects along National Roads; DPWH Clearance DPWH, MODEO-II, Tangub City
  6. Additional Requirements for Industrial and other Special Projects:
    • For those covered by EIS System – ECC/CNC from the DENR-EMB, Regional Office-X
    • For other projects - as prescribed by HSAC (formerly HLURB) - as prescribed by laws from the Regulating agencies; DENR, DAR, DPWH, DA, NTC, DOH, DOTC, etc.

1 Client Steps: Sign in the Client Log Book at PACD
Agency Action: Give the log book to the client and instruct him/her to proceed to cubicle 6​​​​​​​

Processing Time: 2 Minutes
Person Responsible: Public Assistance & Complaints Desk Officer from the (PACD)
2 Client Steps: Submit the required documents at cubicle 6 for assessment and verification. 08​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
Agency Action: Check & verify completeness of requirements and schedule it for inspection with the client.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Processing Time: 30 Minutes
Person Responsible:  Zoning Administrator from the City Planning and Development Office
2.1 Client Steps: Accompany CPDO personnel during the site inspection​​​​​​​
Agency Action: Conduct site inspection after which, issue order of payment to client if project conforms with or allowable under the Z.O. & instruct client to pay at the CTO. If project does not conform, it shall be denied in writing.​​​​​​​

Processing Time: 4 Working Days
Person Responsible:  Zoning Administrator from the City Planning and Development Office
3 Client Steps: Pay the required fees at the City Treasury Office by showing the Order of Payment.​​​​​​​
Agency Action: Accept the payment based on the Order of Payment and issue Official Receipt (OR)​​​​​​​
Fees to be Paid: Certification FeePHP100.00​​​​​​​
Processing Time: 10 Minutes
Person Responsible:  Local Treasury Operations Officer V from the City Treasury Office
4 Client Steps: Return to CPDO and present the OR for processing and release of zoning certification​​​​​​​
Agency Action: Check the O.R. and prepare the Certification​​​​​​​

4.1 Agency Action: Release the zoning Certification instructing the client to sign the logbook​​​​​​​
Fees to be Paid: None

Person Responsible:  Zoning Administrator from the City Planning and Development Office
5 Client Steps: Receive the certification and sign the logbook​​​​​​​
Agency Action: Give the logbook to client for signature​​​​​​​
