Brief history of Barangay Panalsalan

      In the early 1900, the area was first settled by inhabitants skilled on metal craft that from morning to afternoon they wre doing the so called “ Salsal” of metals. People in the neighbors barangays readily went to this area for metal needs until such time that they used to call the place as “Salsalan”. Later on they received and changed the name of the barangay to Panalsalan. During that time, Panalsalan was yet sitio of barangay Pangabuan.

     In the year 1968, under the supervision of the District Councilor Mr. Inocencio Gripo, the place was officially registered as independent barangay Captain. This was made possible through the help of the late Gov. Alfonso D. Tan
